Medita is a meditation and wellness mobile application developed by Vargas Studio Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Medita app.

We aim to collect as little personal data as possible. We do not intentionally collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, or Apple ID.
However, certain technical data such as device identifiers or anonymised usage data may be processed through analytics services to improve the App.
We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to understand how users interact with the app. This helps us improve the app and make better content decisions. The analytics data we collect includes:
All analytics data is anonymous. We use a randomly generated UUID (localUserId) that cannot be linked to your identity. This UUID is stored only on your device and is not associated with your Apple ID, email, or any other personal information.
The app stores the following data locally on your device:
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it (e.g., using iOS Share functionality). We do not sync this data to any server or cloud service.
We use anonymous analytics data to:
Local device data is used solely to: provide a personalized app experience, remember your preferences, track your meditation progress, and enable app features (favorites, playlists, etc.).
Firebase Analytics (Google): We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data. Firebase Analytics is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Analytics data is aggregated and cannot identify individual users. You can disable analytics in the app settings.
Apple: Subscription purchases are processed by Apple. Apple handles all payment information. We do not receive or store payment details. Subscription status is managed by Apple's StoreKit.
You can disable analytics data collection at any time: (1) Open the Medita app; (2) Go to Profile → Settings → Analytics; (3) Toggle "Share Usage Data" to OFF. When analytics is disabled, no analytics events are sent to Firebase, your usage data is not collected, and app functionality remains unchanged.
Since all data is stored locally on your device: To delete all app data: Uninstall the app from your device. To reset preferences: Use iOS Settings → Medita → Reset.
Since we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is no personal data to access or export. All data stored on your device belongs to you and can be managed through iOS settings.
Firebase Analytics retains aggregated analytics data according to Google's data retention policies. Individual events are aggregated and anonymized. You can request deletion of analytics data by contacting us. Data stored on your device persists until you delete the app; you can clear app data at any time through iOS Settings.
Medita is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us. If you are under 13, please do not use the app without parental consent.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information: all data is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage; analytics data is transmitted using encrypted connections (HTTPS); we do not collect sensitive personal information; payment information is handled entirely by Apple.
Medita is available worldwide. If you are using the app from outside the United States, please note that analytics data may be processed by Google servers in various countries, we comply with applicable data protection laws including GDPR, and you have the right to disable analytics data collection.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy; significant changes will be communicated through the app or via email (if you have provided contact information); continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
